If only it were larger
I liked the idea of having a messenger-style diaper bag as opposed to the more prevalent tote-styles. The Diaper Dude bag is ok but there are a few items that would make it better for my needs.
My biggest wish is that the main compartment were larger. It's fairly small and when we put in all the things we'd like to carry the bag gets stuffed and becomes somewhat misshapen to the point where it lays awkward on my hip and back. I tend to carry portable wipes 4-5 diapers 1-2 change of clothes a hat a blanket a sippy cup a snack trap a couple of toys my cell phone and keys. Because I can't find a place for everything the main inside compartment is a mishmash of unorganized items.
The cell phone holder does a fine job holding my LG flip phone. A bigger phone however wouldn't fit but $15 for a Timbuk2 cell phone case would solve that. Also the elasticized bottle pocket is pretty snug so getting a bottle in and out is kinda tough. On the other hand the bottle doesn't fall out accidentally.
Additionally the dirty diaper pocket in the large compartment should probably have a zipper to keep the smell out of the other items in the bag and avoid cross contamination. The hooks for keys and pacifiers would probably only hold keys. The pacifiers being sold these days aren't on a ring and are much too big to be hooked onto the bag. The included changing pad is padded nicely though.
Overall it's a decent bag especially at Amazon.com prices. Someone in our play group has complimented me twice on the bag so I may just give it away to them or keep it as a backup bag. I recently ordered a DadGear messenger diaper bag for nearly the same price and am hoping that it holds all my items better.

I love this!
This bag is great! I got it for christmas and am very pleased. I don't feel it is "babyish" like alot of other bags. It is very stylish for me and my husband. The changing pad is great. It has so much room I don't think I could fill it up if I tried. It also has an anti-microbial lined pocket which is great for soiled clothes and dirty diapers. I haven't used my regular purse since I had my son. There's plenty of room for my cell wallet keys make-up and two pockets for his bottles inside and pockets on the outside for water bottles. Great buy!

Great bag...Both looks and function
I already had a backpack style diaper bag which I liked ok...but it got to be a pain if I needed to grab something out of it. I had looked at the diaper dude bags before but didn't want to spend the extra cash. I ended up breaking down and buying one and haven't regretted it a bit. This bag has lots of room with several outer pockets to place frequently used items. If I need to get anything out of the bag I don't have to take it off to see what I'm doing which I had to do with my backpack style bag. Plus the looks can't be beat....a variety of patterns in a handy messenger style bag.

Absolutely fantastic diaper bag!
For our first baby (now age 3) we used a Baby Kaed backpack diaper bag and it worked out great but after we had another baby (now 10 months) we found the Baby Kaed too small to carry all the necessary supplies for both kids. It was time to upgrade!
After conducting extensive diaper bag research I found a bag that either parent could carry (a definite plus as some diaper bags are "girly") with organization to spare plenty of room plus an ergonomic backpack design that makes it easy to manage the kids while out and about: the Dad Gear Backpack Diaper Bag.
Can't say enough good things about this bag! First the wipes are easily accessible without even opening the pack via a flip-down compartment on the outside. Genius! Second there is a pocket for diapers that's on the very top of the bag so you never have to dig around for them. Next there are two deep side pockets (one on each side) and I routinely fit four cans of premade formula on one side and a bottle on the other side with a zip-lock bag of extra drop-in bottle liners. Then there are two mesh pockets on the outside of the bag perfectly sized for a sippy cup or spare bottle (or even my own water bottle)
There are two organizational pockets in the front one of which I use to store diaper supplies (lotions/creams changing pad extra wipes hand sanitizer and the like) and the other I use for crayons books and a zip-lock bag with a bib and baby spoon.
Finally there's a huge middle pocket which I use to store a spare outfit for each child (right down to the socks in case of catastrophe) snacks for the toddler baby food for the baby toys coloring books board books and a few other odds and ends that make life easier.
This bag is comfortable to carry as well. We live close to Disney and have used it on our frequent all-day park excursions. The straps and the design of the bag make it easy to manage and I highly recommend it to parents with more than one child!
Worth the money! Daddy will thank you.

husband loves it and it fits a ton of stuff
Besides the 3 pockets up front inside the big pocket there is an insluated attachment for bottles and ice packs. It can even fit 2 bottles in the attachment. Behind there is another big pocket (where we keep the changing pad that it comes with) and a small pockets for little extra whatevers. There is also a pocket on the side for my water bottle. I love the clips for my keys and pacifier there are 2 clips! I also love the cell phone pouch. The big pocket is big enough for receiving blankets clothes toys etc. It was always full when she was a newborn and now I have extra space as she gets bigger so I could use this for 2 kids someday if needed. We have been using this bag for 10 months and I have washed it a few times very durable! My husband loves it and doesn't mind carrying it around.

Love this bag
I just received this bag yesterday and I love it! It is really big definitely roomy enough for all the things Moms need to carry. I especially love the little extras; the pacifier pod and the wallet.
I do want to mention that the green is REALLY green some of the photos show it as being a little mor muted but it's not it's very bright.

Great guy-with-a-baby bag
This is a great bag! We used to use an open top bag that can be carried only using the handle it was bulging with my little daughter's stuff. When we got the diaper dude bag and moved all the things to it I thought something must be wrong because it felt really empty even with everything in it.
This bag has multiple pockets some velcro'd some zippered and some open and there's the zippered roomy central area under the main flap with mesh pockets all around it.
This bag comes with a changing pad that can be folded into a small square and stroller straps to hang the bag on your stroller.
I liked how the bag was carried messenger style and the mobile phone pocket fit my Nokia N95 8GB without any problems. My wife was taking items from the front pockets while I was carrying the bag.
After using this bag I think it can be used even by dudes without babies because all the pockets can be used for other things. And it looks great!
Note: When I ordered my bag through amazon it came with the changing pad but no stroller straps. I contacted the nice people at diaper dude and they immediately sent me one. So make sure you check yours when it arrives!

Mom and Dad both love it!
We have had our DadGear bag almost a year now and its still the bag we use the most. Having the built in diaper wipes is my favorite feature. I also love all the little compartments that help me keep organized. I can keep enough diapers in here for a day trip with my 1 year old and 2 year old with extra clothes for each sippy cups and snack. Plus I have the zipper compartment for soiled clothes so nothing else gets yucky. Also being able to use the built in straps to attach is to our stroller is great and even with smaller umbrella strollers the weight of the bag doesn't pull them down. Don't hesitate to buy this bag. I will never use another.

Not as great as I had hoped
I bought this diaper bag because I wanted something a bit smaller than the large diaper bag I had been using until my daughter's first birthday. I chose this particular bag because of the numerous pockets that it comes with. I love the color and it seems to be made really well. The only issue I have with it is that you can't actually put something in every pocket. If you put something in the outer bottle pocket then the diaper disposal bag holder I have won't fit on the inside pocket on that same side. Basically one pocket impedes the other as there just isn't enough space to go around. The changing pad just fits into the outside pocket so that once you fill up the inside you have to squeeeeeze the changing pad into the outside pocket. It doesn't really hold much on the inside either. Since I was trying to downsize this is probably okay for me now since it prevents me from stuffing too much inside! However I don't think this bag would be large enough for a mom with a new baby trying to tote multiple items for feeding changing and a blanket etc. If I were going to buy a Skip Hop for a newer mom I would suggest the messenger bag. It seems to hold a bit more. For the Skip Hop I would recommend the deluxe bag though with the padded strap.

The perfect non-diaper-bag diaper bag
This may be the best bag I've ever owned. I recently traveled by plane and found it was large enough to accommodate my 13" laptop seven extra diapers + wipes (never know how long you're going to be stuck in the airport) two books (one for me one for my husband) and various other items all without making the bag bulky (though yes it was heavy as you can imagine). Yet the bag is somehow compact enough that I can use it around town *without* all of those items and it doesn't look like I'm carrying a giant empty bag around. Should your child decide he wants *you* to hold his beloved stuffed sheep it'll fit easily inside. For any moms and dads out there returning to school you can fit a textbook (two if they're slim) notebooks folders etc. inside and not worry that it looks like you're using a diaper bag. (FYI when my laptop is inside I find my bulky textbook too big to also fit so I just carry it.)
Perhaps my favorite feature are the two front pockets miraculously large enough to easily slip a sippy cup in and out of (but when empty look just as they do in the picture) thus keeping it upright and spill-free. I also love the two zippered pockets at the top of the bag (I keep my wallet in one of them). I don't use my stroller much anymore (my son is 2 1/2) but I do use the stroller clips on the cart handle at the grocery store. I *love* not having to carry my bag around and having easy access to sippy cups snacks etc. that my son may want.

Best diaper bag I have found!
I have tried many many diaper bags. It was hard for me to spend anymore money on them especially one that is $80 but i thought i would give it a try. I have a 2 yr. old and an 8 month old so i have to carry 2 sets of diapers 2 change of clothes snacks drinks baby food plus my things wallet phone and many more things. Everything fits in it perfectly and i love that it is very organized! (I hate digging for diapers etc....) Another plus is that i don't find it very heavy. Yes its heavier with ALL the stuff i put in it but for as big as it is its really not that bulky! The only thing i don't like about the bag is that when you set it down it leans to one side (the side with the 3 pockets)! I wish it would just stay upright! Other than that i love this bag i love the space the color the organization the diaper changing pad and it looks stylish!

The holy grail of diaper bags....
I did tons of research and couldn't decide between this bag and the Fleurville Mothership. I am SO glad I chose the Skip*Hop Studio Diaper Tote!!!!
This bag is awesome. So many pockets - and not those small useless pockets either. All of the pockets are a great size and really help keep everything organized. The handles are a great length and fit nicely over the shoulder; the handle straps also stay put on my shoulder which is important when you're carrying a baby. The bag looks great too. Not too fancy but not too casual. (I have it in black) The material is soft (can't think of a better word) so it's easy to squeeze in to tight spaces - but yet it's sturdy. I have a Fleurville Lexi tote and I love it too but that bag is kind of stiff. I think this Skip*Hop will become my everyday bag. It is a bit large - so if you're not in to large bags this may be better as an over-night diaper bag. But I can fit everything I need in here and have room for a book my make-up bag wallet phone and then some. I only wish they made the inside a brighter color (like the Fleurvilles which have bright blues greens pinks etc.) to add a little spunk but who looks inside the bag anyway...
To give you an idea of how much stuff you can put in this bag here is what I have in it right now:
1. 5 diapers
2. Wipes container AND small package of face wipes
3. 8oz bottle and 6oz bottle of water
4. 3 pairs of baby pants
5. 3 onesies
6. butt paste
7. baby tylenol
8. large nose sucker (you know what i'm talking about!)
9. package of boogie wipes
10. packets of hand sani-wipes
11. package of kleenex
12. 3 burp cloths
13. 3 bibs
14. 3 small toys
15. small baby hoodie and bib in the bottom zipper (awesome secret pocket!)
16. wallet
17. small make-up bag
18. cell phone
19. camera
20. sunglasses with case
21. small blanket on the outside flap
(Don't judge me.....I'm out of town and had to pack lots-o-stuff!)
And there are still some pockets not in use! All this stuff is in its own pocket (except for the clothes) so it's not all just piled in there and hard to find.
I highly recommend this bag - I have been very impressed with it and am glad I bought it.
